A 17-year-old Hamilton male was driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra when he collided with a 2011 Subaru Outback driven by a 51-year-old Chesterfield man at the intersection of Newkirk and Leonard Avenues around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, Hamilton Police said.
The Subaru driver was extricated by the Hamilton Fire Division before being taken to Capital Health at Fuld for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
The Nissan driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit at (609) 581-4000.
